Last spots for Summer Camp 2024!

Summer camp is more than 85% full, but a few spots remain in several sessions. Enroll on the Parent Dashboard for outdoor adventure and nature exploration!


Here's an overview of remaining weeks. Sessions could move to a waitlist sooner than removed below. The registration system indicates real-time availability.


On site sessions. Nature Camp, which is held on site for ages 5-10, has four unique sessions: Georgia Wildlife, Georgia Habitats, Georgia Geology, Georgia Trees and Flowers. The week of July 22 is full! Each week includes small group playground time, nature art and crafts; wildlife studies with animal interactions; plant explorations with gardening and time with the chickens; hands-on environmental science; and active movement, including nature yoga or games. Drop-off is from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and pickup is from 4:30 p.m. to 5 p.m.


Field trip adventure sessions. Drop-off is from 8:15 a.m. to 8:45 a.m., and pickup is from 5:30 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. The field trip itinerary is subject to change.


  • Adventure Sessions, Ages 7-10

    • Wildlife Biologists. Weeks of June 3 and June 24 (1 spot left!). Hiking (High Falls State Park, Sawnee Mountain), Animal tours (Wild Animal Safari, North Georgia Zoo, Dauset Trails Nature Center), Callaway Gardens and Aqua Island, Beachfront swimming

    • Marine Biologists. Week of June 24. Hiking (Chattahoochee Nature Center), Tour at Georgia Aquarium, Stream ecology (Dunwoody Nature Center, Charlie Elliott Wildlife Center), Callaway Gardens and Aqua Island, Beachfront swimming

    • Nature Photography. Week of July 15 (1 spot left!). Hiking (Vickery Creek Falls, Elachee Nature Center, State Botanical Garden, Red Top Mountain), Callaway Gardens and Aqua Island, Beachfront swimming

    • Forest Rangers. Week of July 15 (2 spots left!). Hiking (Cherokee Bluffs, Sweetwater Creek), Ziplining (Treetop Quest), Forestry program (Chattahoochee National Park Service), Callaway Gardens and Aqua Island, Beachfront swimming


  • Adventure Sessions, Ages 10-13

    • Wildlife & Marine Biologists. Week of June 3. Hiking (Sawnee Mountain), Stream ecology (Dunwoody Nature Center), Animal tour (Wild Animal Safari), Kayaking/canoeing, Callaway Gardens and Aqua Island, Beachfront swimming

    • Trees & Caving. Week of July 8 (1 spot left). Hiking (Cherokee Bluffs, Sweetwater Creek), Ziplining (Unicoi Zipline & Aerial Adventure Park), Ropes tree climbing, Caving (Pettyjohn's Cave), Beachfront swimming

  • Teen Adventure Sessions, Ages 13-15

    • 1 spot left! Teen II. Week of July 22. Hiking (Sawnee Mountain), Sliding rock (Tallulah Gorge), Kayaking/canoeing, Whitewater rafting, Callaway Gardens and Aqua Island, Beachfront swimming


Cost. On site nature camp costs $380 per week ($30 discount for 3rd or more full week sessions in the same checkout) and field trip camp costs $560 per week ($45 discount for 3rd or more full week sessions in the same checkout). 4-day sessions have reduced rates.
